I've done a bit more testing and I've found that it works as expected as long as I don't enter full screen mode on the M4 mini with Apple display. On my 2019 iMac 21" 4k, full screen mode works fine.
So, I wonder if full screen mode is the problem?

Should have said I'm on Mac. MOTU M2 interface. But this happens whether I use the MOTU or the the internal audio.

Hi, as the title states. It happens whether I have Earmaster play the clap sound or not. I can't see it being an offset issue as it only happens on the first beat.
It happens around 1 in every 4 exercises, sometimes more.

Hi, yes the HELP menu is at the top of the screen of your Mac, not the top of the EarMaster window. Was it the issue? If you reach the max number of allowed activation, please contact support@earmaster.com so that we may reset your activation slots. Yeah, I did that two days a go and haven't heard ...
