Can't find where to enter serial key.

Hi, I bought EarMaster Pro in 2020. I haven't used it for a while and have a new hard drive on my Mac. I've downloaded the app from EM site. There is no help at the top of the screen as referred to in the instructions. At the top left there is a cloud symbol to log into the cloud. So I can't enter the license manager.

I'd appreciate any help with this, many thanks.

Hi, yes the HELP menu is at the top of the screen of your Mac, not the top of the EarMaster window. Was it the issue?

If you reach the max number of allowed activation, please contact support@earmaster.com so that we may reset your activation slots.

Yeah, I did that two days a go and haven't heard anything back yet. Do you know what the expected turnaround time is?

It should happen within 24 hours (outside of weekends), most of the time it's handled the same say. Have you looked in your spam folder?

Where did you find the licence manager?

It's in the Help menu in both the Windows and Mac versions of EarMaster. Notice however that on Mac, the License Manager is only included in the version from our website, not in the one from the Mac App Store, for the simple reason that the Mac App Store doesn't permit serial number mechanisms.

So on Mac, tou can download EarMaster here:
- Bought as serial number = Download from the EarMaster website (find the downoad link in your purtchase confirmation email)
- Bought as annual/monthly subscription, One-Year All-Access Pass, or In-App Purchase = Download from the Mac App Store

That usually means the app thinks it’s being used with EarMaster Cloud—a subscription-based system often used in educational settings—and is prompting you to log into the cloud rather than entering your serial number manually.

Seriously, where DO they hide these things? It's like an Easter egg hunt gone wrong. Finding a serial key should not be this complicated! Feels like solving a cryptic puzzle. I bet even a cat could find it faster. Reminds me of that time I wrestled with installing new graphics drivers for my, shall we say, vintage PC. Spent hours clicking through menus, digging through forum threads. The worst part? It turned out the problem wasn't even the drivers! Sometimes the frustration really hits like that time playing Slope Game . It's a humbling experience to face a difficult problem.
