Erratic behaviour in Earmaster

Post by George Goodnight »

Hi, following on from my last thread. I uninstalled and reinstalled and the menu to enter the password appeared as it should have.

But now, I'm left with the screen going black intermittently. Although the mic graphic light up when I clap my hands, the notes aren't being recorded either. But even if they were the screen going black would prevent successfully completing the exercises.

I running an M4 Mac mini with apple display.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Many thanks.

Thank you for your feedback. This is not a known issue, so we would like to look deeper into this. Could you please record a video showing the app starting and then going black. The timing of the video might give us better clues as to what exactly might be happening.

You are welcome to send the video to support@earmaster.com, or upload it to a site like imgur.com and share the link to the recording here or in a private message.

Thank you!

I've done a bit more testing and I've found that it works as expected as long as I don't enter full screen mode on the M4 mini with Apple display. On my 2019 iMac 21" 4k, full screen mode works fine.

So, I wonder if full screen mode is the problem?

What resolution and refresh rate are you using on the M4 with Apple Display?
