When I try to setup EarMaster 7 on my Windows on ARM Latop, following error message box appears:
Dieses Programm kann nur auf Windows-Versionen installiert werden,
die folgende Prozessor-Architekturen unterstützen:
x64
Windows on ARM emulates a x64 CPU. This message box is a known bug of Inno Setup, which EarMaster is using.
I would like to use EarMaster on my new Laptop. Please fix the setup routine.
Thank you for your feedback. EarMaster does indeed use Inno Setup. We'll update the installer in the Windows version so that it installs on Windows on ARM.

It would be even better to have a real ARM64 version, but emulation as a workaround is still preferable to not having EarMaster.
I am unable to install EarMaster on my samsung lap top, it has a 64-bit operating system, ARM-based processor (snapdragon), and the latest version of windows - I get a pop up with the message....
"This program can only be installed on versions of windows with the following program architecture: x64"
I have paid for the software but cant run it on my laptop. Is there anything that can be done?
It’s related to the way EarMaster’s current Windows installer (built with Inno Setup) checks for CPU architecture. Even though Windows on ARM can emulate x64, the installer fails before it gets that far. At the moment there’s no public fix or test build released, so you can’t get past that architecture error unless they provide one.
Thank you very much for taking the time to post, much appreciated. I think I understand.....Looks like all I can do is wait and hope! In fact I have a feeling that when I was reading reviews of this laptop some people noted the architecture did throw up bugs with some software, so it is a joint earmaster and laptop issue....
