Ear Master-Harmonic listening?

Post by aboynamedchris »

I believe Harmonic listening is a more flexible and more powerful method of listening. You don't need a "reference tone" to identify a pitch; all you have to do is choose a key signature.

Is "Ear Master 5" designed to help you recognize scale degrees and intervals harmonically as oppose to listening to intervals as a distance?

If not, what are the advantages of learning the distances associated with intervals?

Hi,
EarMaster trains you to recognize both harmonic and melodic intervals.
Best regards,
