Sevenths on Perfect Cadences

Hello Guys

Am I to only one to find it very very difficult to spot if a perfect cadence has a 7th or not in it?

Is there anyway you use to better listen for the seventh in the cadence?

I'm stuck on that lesson, and I can't seem to carry on.
