On a similar note to my earlier thread regarding newly introduced notes in sight-singing not being sufficiently used, I would also encourage the Earmaster team to ensure some variation in the exercises.
I just did a session of rhythm reproduction by ear and in module 1, lesson 6, all 8 presented exercises were identical, consisting of a single whole note. I'm aware that this particular module doesn't allow for much variation but it would be nice if what little is possible would at least be used.

We are aware of this. However as you point out it is difficult to make more variations to an exercise that simple. We want to exercises to have a slow progression, so that everyone can participate through this progression. The variations should improve through the next few exercises already.
