I use Earmaster Pro 6...I can't help myself but I always get the impression that f.e regular eighth notes are more played like dotted notes..which confuses me a lot
I really want to practice to write down rhythms I hear, but in this case I've got the feeling that the more I use the program the worse my rhythm sense gets ( don't get me wrong, I like the program a lot..except the rhythm part)..PLEASE help me, have you got similar experiences?? Or do I have a weird sense of rhythm

Re: Rhythm dictation
HI there
Are you on the latest version? (tools->check for updates).
So it is the playback that is the issue? I can't really seem to recreate the problem. Do you have some info on your system setup? are you mac or windows? what version? etc.

Re: Rhythm dictation
thx for your reply!
i use windows...i did an update..something is better now...strange..the eighth notes sound regular now could it be that sometimes my computer doesn't reproduce the sound correctly because its working storage or whatever is overloaded? is it better to use a mac when working with earmaster?

Re: Rhythm dictation
I am glad to hear it is better. It could be because of storage overload, or memory overload. However should only be the case if your computer is old an slow, or if you are running some big programs while using EarMaster. I wouldn't say it works better on Mac no. But if you have a mac and it is faster, then it could be better.
But it seems like the update fixed the issue then?
