Reference tones for transposing instruments?

Post by brettlebanettle »

Hello, I'm a trumpet player trying out the EarMaster 6 demo and one little glitch I've noticed is that when using the sightsinging practice with the microphone settings set to transpose for my instrument, the reference tones at the beginning of each exercise are not transposed. What this means is that for every exercise in the key of C, I get a low and high D ( when thinking in trumpet terms... in concert terms I'm playing in Bb and I get 2 C tones leading me in.). It is somewhat distracting and makes the first tone of the exercise a little difficult to find, and also could set up a bad mental precident if done over a long perdiod of time. Otherwise I'm greatly enjoying the program, thank you very much! :)

Ok, I just had it confirmed that it will be fixed as fast as possible. It will be included in the next update.
