Program Freeze - trying to choose midi In source

Hi

I've been trying to connect my axiom 25 to work with this program and i'm slowly getting angry

Just as i click the list of midi ins to choose, the program freezes instantly and i have to kill the process.
Any solution ?
btw. my midi controller works fine with Reaper so it's not a controller fault.

We would be happy to help, but we need more info on your setup to do that:

* What OS are you using? (Windows, Mac OS, version?)

* What is the build number of your EarMaster installation, and what version is it? (See: HELP menu, About EarMaster)

* Have you updated EarMaster to the latest version? (HELP-->CHECK FOR UPDATES...)

Windows 7, Ear Master ver 5 build 636PW
There was a problem with midi out.
Default option was : Microsoft Midi Mapper, and that option was freezeing program. It was strange because the sound was fine from that output. Shurely it was a glitch between the vendor driver and windows drivers. As soon as i chose Microsoft Gs Wavetable Synth it all work fine.

Great! Could you please tell us what brand/model of soundcard was causing the crash when using Microsoft MIDIMapper? We migfht use that as a reference if others experience the same problem.
