I can't use the program

Post by marcof »

Good evening,
I can not enter the serial number.
I installed the trial period and I bought the program, download version.
I open the program, I get "acceptance conditions", I click on the icon of acceptance and is in the dock and thenall the controls are inactive.
Can you help me, please?

Hello,
Since you are talking of dock, I assume you are on Mac. Please make sure you are following the normal procedure to install EarMaster:

1. Double click on the .dmg file (the file you downloaded)
2. Drag the EarMaster on to the Applications shortcut following the blue arrow.
3. Accept terms of use and choose the destination.
4. The program installs itself into your Applications folder
5. Eject the installation file (.dmg) form the Finder
6. Start EarMaster from your Applications folder. If you want to have EarMaster on the dock, simply drag it from the Applications folder to the dock (AFTER it has been installed).

If you follow these instructions to the letter, there shouldn't be any problem.

Another thing:

If the problem resides in entering the serial number and you have a keyboard where you must use the shift key to enter numbers (like on French keyboards for example), then try to use the numerical pad of your keyboard if you have one instead.

If you don't have a numerical pad on the right side of your keyboard, simply write the serial in TextEdit and do a copy/paste in the serial number field in EarMaster.
