My teacher and I were working with this program and deciding whether I should purchase it or not. There are two issues we could not resolve and were hoping to get some advice on.
1) During vocal exercises, sometimes it shows an answer as an octave above or an octave below what is being sung. Why? What setting will fix this?
2) Sometimes, it does not always show the correct pitch being sung. What setting fixes the accuracy?
Thank you!!!
Sandy

As I understand it, both of your questions is about EarMaster not transcribing the same tone as the one you sung?
If EarMaster does not identifies the tones correctly, you can change the settings for the identification of tones. This is done with the microphone tuning wizard (in the "tools" menu).

Thank you! I'll keep trying out different settings.
