I checked the use metal in development settings by accident, now the EM7 will freeze my computer on startup, I need to reset the settings without start up the EM7, how should I do?

I have found the answer; just delete the ~/Library/Containers/EarMaster directory.

But be careful, you have to enter your licenses again.

Great the you foujd it! Actually, just deleting the "Setting.da6" file in that folder should do the trick, and it won't erase anything but your settings. Upon the next launch, EarMaster will recreate that file with default setitngs.

You can try locating and deleting the EM7 configuration file in your system folders to reset the settings without opening the program.

Deleting only Setting.da6 will not erase your license or progress.
If the app still won’t launch, you can delete the entire EarMaster container folder at:
~/Library/Containers/EarMaster
This performs a full reset, but you'll need to re-enter your license info afterward.
