Is there a way to use the tutorial with open chords in "chords identification" ?
A CMaj7 is rarely played with C E G B in that order, not on the guitar anyway, and I don't think on the piano neither. The closeness of the notes makes a 4-notes chords very difficult to recognize. It's certainly a lack of training of course (:p) but to be trained on "real" chords would be better I think.
Is my request absoluty stupid ? Is it already built-in with EarMaster ? Should I shut up and work harder ? )

Both Yes and no (kidding ) . The thing is the chord identification exercise is working on a theoretical basis. It's all about training your ear and helping it recognize qualities, etc. In that sense, you shouldn't care too much for instrumental limitations.
BUT we are very well aware that a little more "realism" somtetimes would be nice (especially for us guitarists when it comes to chords), and we are keeping that in mind for the future :--)

At the moment, I just don't use the tutor and do my training with open chords, which is possible with Earmaster. That's why I was wondering if such a tutor could exist. Maybe can I make one ?
By the way, is it really important to be able to identify a chord arpeggiated : 7 5 3 1 ? (Sorry for my english, I could not find a better sentence)
Because the jazz tutor tests us with that sort of question. Wouldn't it be better to be asked for chords appegiated : 1 7 5 3 ?
