Singing in Parts

Post by SimpsonDG »

I sing second bass in my church choir, and I'm looking for something to help me improve my sight-singing skills. Will EarMaster do that? Can it be configured specifically for bass clef and bass singing?

Hi

Yes it can indeed. You can simply go the Preferences of the software (or the iPad app) by clicking on the gears-shaped icon at the bottom left of the screen and then select "Bass" as voice range.

Notice that in the Beginner's Course, everything is in treble clef only (it's for beginners....) but you can sing your answers at any octave.
For other more advanced training modes, EarMaster will use the setting set in "Training mode".
