Two Part Dictation?
Hi, I'm trying the free trial for Earmaster and I was wondering if there's an option for two part melodic dictation? Thanks.

Thanks for answering.
I have another question, is there a way to turn off the playing of the pitches when entering the notes in melodic dictation? Also when I'm entering the pitches it's giving me the rhythm and showing me where the measures are, is there a way to turn that off too so I can figure out a melodic dictation with rhythm on my own, as if I was taking a test in class? Thanks.

You can deactivate the sound of the visual interface in the "Exercise Settings" menu by deselecting "Play tone on mouse-click".
To enter rhythmic values in the melodic dictation exercise, you can choose the Customized mode in the welcome screen and activate "Rhythms" in the set up window before starting the exercise. You will then have to enter the correct note values and pitches yourself to answer the questions (you can browse the different note values by right-clicking on the staff or by choosing values on the right side of the window).
EarMaster will however always show the bars as they get completed by the tones you insert.
Best regards,
Quentin
