Saving questions

Post by herbstfluten »

Especially with the rhythm exercises I would like to concentrate on the questions that I didn't get right repeatedly.
Like learning vocabulary. I don't want to go over the same words that I already know but stick to the ones, that just wouldn't register so far.
But so far I couldn't see a feature in earmaster, that allowed to concentrate on the 'difficult questions'.
In interval training etc. that is of course no prob, because you can sort out the ones you want to train. But in the rhythm exercises?

Any suggestions?

Thank you

Michael

You can also configure the rhythm exercises to make rhythms that match your needs. It is not possible to choose exact rhythm patterns, but by choosing specific notevalues combined with the special patterns you can make rhythms that mainly consist of the rhythms patterns you want to exercise.

If you are not sure how to do it, you can just write what specific rhythm patterns you want to exercise. Then I can tell you how you can configure EarMaster to do it.

It would be great if you could create your own patterns and add them to the "special patterns" list. Sometimes you have to choose some options to make possible to practice a given pattern, but the random creation of the rhytm fills the question with lot's of things you dont want to practice.

With the current options you can come very close to get only the patterns you want - if you use it in the right way. It is however on our list of suggestions for future improvements to allow adding custom patterns.
