More options in the dictation melodic

Post by georgy jaramillo »

Hello, how can I add more rhythmic patterns to the dictation melodic i would like to practice with the triplets, bondage, trills, silences. In the dictation melodic can only be round, white, black, eighth notes and sixteenth notes. I have review dictation melodic in the conservatory and i take with ligatures, triplets, silences. Increase the difficulty with the changes in tone but still I can't practice with more rhythmic patterns in the dictation melodic,a composer has to know how to listen a melody with different rhythmic patterns and write it down.It would be good if you increase more options to the dictation melodic.

Hi,

In "Customized activity" you can use the "Melody database" instead of "Generated melodies" as dictation engine in the setup window. You will then be able to write dictations or import melodies via MusicXML that have more varied rhythmic values than the automatically-generated melodies.

Thank you very much for the reply, if I was doing that in personal settings add melodies but my question is that when is can add more rhythmic patterns in generated melodies because I practice with melodies that I taught in the school of music but sent me only one a week that I don't have many melodies that keep. It would be more simple if melodies generated could add the option of adding more rhythmic patterns of the little that exist, so listen to many unknown melodies to write them to ear.

You could train with the melodies that are included in the melody database. There are about 200 Jazz standards that can be used with all melodic and rhythmic activities.
