My level of ear training is minimal

Post by Bass »

Came across this site a few days ago. I have considered purchasing this software, but have avoided it for several reasons. One being that my experience has been that most musical software doesn't deliver what it promises. How many users would recommend this software. My level of ear training is minimal but have been playing many years. I would love to listen to song and transcribe it note for note. Is this possible with this software?

Thanks 8-)

Hi there, yes it's definitely worth it. At the end of the day ANY ear training is better than none if you want to improve as a musician. I play trumpet and started using EarMaster in my practice routine, when I'm resting my lips between study exercises. I do 10 - 15 minutes a day and its definitely improving my interval and note recognition. I can't recommend it hightly enough.
As for your comment about music software not delivering what it promises, you get out of it what you put in, nothings that easy!

respectfully yours

I wasn't good at all, since I do the exercices, I started to pick up the notes. I see some improvement and even my teacher
