Entering chord progression answers with a midi keyboard

I want to be able to enter the answers on a midi keyboard in the chord progression activity.

Hello,

It is possible to use a MIDI keyboard with the chord progression activity. Simply play the root tone (to specify the degree) and the tones that command the quality of each chord (for example m3 for minor triad or M3 for major triad). Add a 7th or 9th if necessary.

There is no point to use midi keyboard just to enter the root tone, and then specify the quality on the solfege keyboard. I want to play exactly the cords as i listen to them along with their inversion etc. That is true keyboard-ear practising.

All tones can be played on the MIDI keyboard, not just the root tone.

Okay now i've found the problem. It simply doesn't work with the inversions. I want to play the answer in the right inversion and when i play it i get totally wrong chord. Otherwise it works, but only in root position. Why would i like to enter the answers in root position on the midi keyboard when they are played in other inversion? I want to play the correct inversion.
