Hello,
I have updated the program on my Mac and since then it crashes every time. Either it plays two three excercises and then freezes or would immediately freeze. Is reinstallation from the start needed? if so any guidelines as to how?

Re: crashing on Macbook
Hello,
Could you please open EarMaster's preferences and find the tab called "Developer Settings" toward the bottom. You will see a bunch of option in th eright-hand panel. Unselect "UseMetal", and the restart EarMaster. This will make the animations of the UI a bit sluggish, but it might solve the crashes.
Is this solving the crashing issues on your Mac?

I'm having the same issue, is there any other solution? Unselecting "UseMetal" makes the app unbearable to work to, is so annoying, more than the actual crash off the app
