Custom chords in EarMaster IOS

Post by Bwinkbat »

Hi,

I have recently purchased the custom exercises for EarMaster on iPhone and have noticed that there isn’t the option to add one’s own chords to the chord library. Is this a feature that will be implemented in the future? It is one of the most useful features on the desktop version and it would be super handy to have it with me on my phone.

Thanks,
Benny

Hi Benny,
It is indeed not possible to add custom chords/scales/progressions on mobile, but we have discussed internally about adding it.

I'm a Mac user and iOS user, I'm also a music teacher, actually dim.7 accord is very important, but in iOS we can't add it into library.(But in Mac it works perfect!)
I hope dim.7(root) would be added in iOS in the future!

Hi,

As far as I can see, dim7 is already available. To see it, choose "Customized Exercise" in the home screen, and then Chord Identification". You should then be able to select dim7 from the list of chords.
