Drag sharps and flats with mouse

Post by Gregmacm »

I'm doing chord recognition exercises and sometimes I like to click on individual notes in the chord on chords when the notes are played simultaneously. I don't have a keyboard connected and I find it annoying that every time I want to select a sharp or flat I have to go back and click the sharp or flat button rather than just click in position and drag up and down for a sharp or flat. It really slows things down. Am I missing an option or is this a feature that could be introduced for those that aren't working with a keyboard? It seems like a logical thing to minimize the number of mouse clicks and mouse movement. Perhaps dragging a not up could be ordered, sharp, double sharp and then down flat double flat.

thanks for any help Greg

Good you found it :) Yes dragging sideways adds alterations. Easier than moving the mouse cursor around between the staff and the toolbar
