Real-time Pitch Matching Possible?

I like the pitch matching but I believe that it could be better, at least for my learning style.

The pitch matching is presented as a test. In other words, a tone is sounded, I sing, the frequency I sang is presented as a line and I am marked green or red.

A better way, I believe, is to present it optionally as a helpful teacher, or coach. Show the line as I am singing and then I know if I should adjust my tone up or down based on where the line is.

Is this "real-time" pitch matching already a feature of the product and I cannot find it?
