Microphone

Post by wdremadie »

I am new to EarMaster. I bought the beginner’s course to get going. I am using an iPad. I tried the 1st lesson using the mike and speaker in the iPad and passed the 1st 2 lessons. I decided to use better speakers and mike. Now I can hear the note but EarMaster doesn’t pick up any signal from the mike and just repeats the note indefinitely. I tested my setup with Dictaphone and it works fine. I tried going back to the built in mike and speaker - same problem. I can find no control panel to adjust settings. What to do?

M’y apologies. I realized I changed the interface at the bottom of the screen from microphone to piano. I didn’t expect that to deactivate the microphone. I changed it back to microphone and am now back in action. Sorry for the bother, I’ll do better next time

Hi,

Yes, the choices you make in the Exercise Options panel are saved. So if you select something else than microphone, the App will use that next time it runs. :)
