Yes, it makes sense to use the most widely used system. But the system itself, makes no sense to me. The whole point for me, of using Movable Do, is that each tone serves one specific function within the key, and it would be easier for me if i.e. the tone one fifth above the tonic had the same name ...

When tone naming is set to solfege relative, and chord identification is chosen, and a minor triad is played: Why is the second, and not the first tone in the triad Do? I don't know anything about this system, trying to learn it.

I have somewhat the same problem, but I haven't used it so much, so I expect it to improve a lot. I can usually get near 100% on all intervals ascending, slightly less on harmonic and descending. Trying to figure out (or even guess at) real music without an intrument seems impossible to me ...

While most of the exercises in the interval comparison are fairly easy to me, I seem completely stuck on hearing the difference between minor and major third intervals, when played simultaneously (step 18 ). Other intervals, and minor/major third melodic are easy. I think it's been about ten ...

It may be that most people are quite satisfied with the DLS synth sounds, but it's still far easier with the much more natural, fuller and less flat sounds of the soft sampler in Logic. I feel I learn quicker this way.

BTW I found out that I don't need MIDI Patchbay, OS X has it's own built-in IAC ...
