rhythm reading MIDI input note duration problem....

hi, by and large this works very nicely and is really helping me improve. i like to play scales whilst reading the rhythms and also like to have evaluate note length turned on. i'm finding that if i hold a note (note 1) a little too long and it overlaps with the next (note 2) then it's dropping the ...

Notation spacing: EM6 was better....

hi, could you please put the slider back to adjust between fixed and proportional notation spacing? in EM7 you've either one or the other but nothing inbetween. the spacing provides a lot of rhythm reading assistance and it would be a better teaching or learning experience to fade that assistance ra...

EM6 Rhythm reading, error on first note is carried for all..

Hi,
Please help, this is starting to do my head in as the exercises become more difficult:

If I'm a little early on the first note then even when I hit subsequent notes spot on they still are marked as early.

Thanks.

I think I'd probably buy the mobile device that ran EarMaster. But I'd also love some sight reading and piano tuition features. Maybe something that guided one through the content in Super Sight-Reading Secrets by Howard Richman? Thanks for the Band in a Box tip, dramsenik. I guess you've already lo...

Sight reading features would be highly appreciated! The best I've seen for the PC is Etude Sight Reader. (There is Sight Reading Studio for the Mac) It's only for MIDI keyboards but compliments EarMaster very well. One feature is has which shouldn't be missing from EarMaster is the ability to use a ...

I've had to do a complete reinstall of XP and hance Earmaster Pro I've got a clearer idea what's going on.
With Show First Tone selected hitting the same tone will select a unison.
Without Show First Tone there is no way to select it with a MIDI keyboard.

Selecting unison on MIDI keyboard...

Hello,
Is there a way to select unison with a MIDI keyboard?
I press it numerous times, even with sustain pedal and it just registers a single tone.
All the other intervals select absolutely fine.

Cheers,
Neil.
