Could you please check the build number under the menu "Help / About EarMaster..." - the newest build should be 624.
We've had some problems with older builds, which keeps muting the SW Synth on some Windows systems. You can check this by opening "Volume Control" on your XP, and check for ...

In the "Exercise settings" menu, you can change the "Auto replay question" to any seconds you like, or disable the feature. And you can set the "Answer time limit" to "No time limit", and that will give you the nessesary time you need to make all your inputs.

You need to make sure your keyboard isn't transposing notes before they are send out. And about your interface, it does not have its own sound module, so you need to make sure it's connected to a module which can receive the Midi signals from the interface and turn these into sounds.

Yes, each line in statistics shows number of attempts for a certain date, and the columns reflects the best result. If you need to see each attempts you can enable "Show all attempts" from the "View / Results" menu, and set the "Result summations" to 1 month (or to one day), and you will see the ...
