For dictations, EarMaster covers harmonic material on up to 8 monophonic voices at ...

Re: Beginner Question: Best Way to Start Ear Training in EarMaster?

Re: Is EarMaster really the best ear training app out there?

Thank you for your feedback. It's a bit of a stretch to compare apps that do interval ear training with EarMaster which can be used for so much more. For example your 2 of your 3 requests can already be achieved in the current version 7:

1. transcribe random chords with my answer being in the ...

Re: Custom chord progressions?

You can create your own chord progressions up to 8 chords, but for now this option is only available in the version for Windows and Mac, not on iOS and Android. You create progressions by opening the Music Library (FILE menu at the top of your screen) at the Chord Progressions section:

Add a new ...

Re: Earmaster on Ubuntu 22.04 + Wine

LordEagle, have you tried to enable/disable some of the options in EarMaster's Preferences, in the Developer Settings section? Some combinations might work with the WINE configuration you are using. Notice that the issue with font was an old problem when using EarMaster on Windows with he classic ...

Re: Trouble balancing rhythm accuracy and pitch recognition

Your experience is very common: focusing on rhythm often means pitch recognition takes a backseat, and vice versa. The solution is to structure your practice so both skills get regular attention. Try dividing your practice time into distinct blocks—10–15 minutes on rhythm (clapping, tapping, or ...
