VST notes are sometimes heard in the wrong octave

I'm not sure if the bug is with EarMaster or with the VST plugins, but sometimes the notes heard are one octave away from the solution. I found this problem with other programs using the VST plugins like Finale too (where chords are inverted and such when not supposed to be), so I think the problem ...

For the inteval exercise settings (especially for harmonic), please allow the lower limit for the root to be at least one octave lower than is currently allowed. There are a lot of low bass notes we hear in every type of music.

Listening to vocal notes?

Can someone recommend some good choir synthesizers that I can connect to EarMaster (via loopBe1 or MIDI Yoke)? It would be very interesting to do these exercises with vocal pitches. Transcribing vocals is usually harder than instruments so it is a much needed exercise for me.
