I see the same thing in lessons 13, 14, 15 etc.
Am I wrong that it's just a notation convention (employed by EM)?

I got nearly 99% on Interval Comparison lessons 1 - 12.
When I came to do #13 (Major vs minor 2nds - a scending), I started to find it a lot harder to recognize the greater interval.
