Hello, I have got an idea, when I hear the cadence (the chords) at the begining, I could remember the fundamental in my head and then when I hear the second note, I can hear the interval and find which note it is, is it a good idea to start ?

I really believe that everyone identifies intervals the way you describe. Yes, you can also hear the difference but the main thing is based on the colour of the intervals.
