Purchased *credits* are loaded on your school account and then consumed on a daily basis according to the total number of students and teachers currently enabled in your account. **1 credit = 365 days** **of use by 1 student or teacher**. *Example: 10 users will consume 10 credits in 1 year, 5 users will consume 10 credits in 2 years, and 20 users will consume 10 credits in half a year.* You are free to add or remove as many users as you want, anytime you want. There are no hidden costs or extra expenses. A subscription or cloud credits include absolutely everything that you need to use EarMaster at your institution. Are new versions and updates included in the price? Yes, all users in an active school account have instant access to new versions and updates at no extra cost. How much does support cost? Email support is free and unlimited. For issues that require it, we may use videoconferencing or phone - also free of charge - but in most cases it isn't necessary. How can I pay? You can pay by credit card, PayPal, or by wire transfer to our bank account located in Denmark (we're a Danish company). Checks are also accepted but will be charged a check fee. Can I get a quotation? Absolutely! Do I need to get separate licenses for EarMaster Cloud and the EarMaster app? No, you don't need separate licenses. An EarMaster Cloud license includes full access to the EarMaster app on all platforms for teachers and students. Do you offer educational discounts? Yes. EarMaster is sold exclusively to educational institutions at a much lower price than the licenses sold to individuals (close to a 10th of the price of a personal subscription!). This discount is already included in the standard prices. Does a teacher license cost more than a student license? No, it doesn't. In EarMaster Cloud, student and teacher licenses cost exactly the same. Is there a way to use EarMaster free of charge? Yes, we can provide you with a school account that includes **free teacher licenses**. You will be able to invite students to subscribe individually with EarMaster Cloud's dedicated *email invite system*. All the students that you invite that way and who subscribe to EarMaster will be automatically connected to the EarMaster Cloud account of your school. This solution requires that at least 5 of your students subscribe to EarMaster privately. You will obtain one teacher license for the first five subscribed students, and then one additional teacher license per step of 20 subscribed students. Are the licenses tied to specific users, or can they be re-assigned midterm? Licenses are not tied to specific user, so you are free to remove or add users anytime you need, as long as you don't exceed the maximum number of concurrent users included in your subscription. If you are using the credit system instead of the annual subscription, then you are free to add or remove as may users as you want, anytime you want, which will simply speed up or slow down the rate at which your credits are consumed. Does the license period need to be one year? The first period may be shorter for practical reasons, for example if you need future renewals to happen on a specific date. Please contact sales@earmaster for further info, or consider our alternative licensing option: EarMaster Cloud Credits, which don't have a fixed renewal date and can be purchased anytime you want. Is there a minimum order size? Yes, the minimum order size is 5 users for the annual subscription, or 5 EarMaster Cloud Credits if you opt for the credit licensing option instead. I only have one or two students, what are my options? Even with just a couple of students, EarMaster Cloud can be the right choice.
